Humane Education Certificate Program (HECP)
Transformational
Distance-Learning
"I had been sleep walking through life, living in routines and ruts and now I'm waking up. The reading, thinking, and communicating with others in the program has stimulated my brain, excited my spirit, and stirred my emotions. To be more humane in my own life and then to share what I've learned with others brings me great joy.” --Ginnie R. Maurer, HECP student, West Virginia

"I feel so fortunate to have found HECP, which has given me the opportunity to explore issues that have been important to me and discover new ones, too. As a working father of two young children, I value the flexibility that HECP has allowed me to balance my roles as husband, father, financial provider, and student." --Mark Heimann, HECP graduate, New Jersey
“To think that you can start this program and be able to just whip through it easily would be a mistake. The HECP has brought a drastic awakening and realization of the role I play in the world, and also gave me all the tools necessary to create and communicate the changes I want to see. The program was challenging from beginning to the end, and now that I have completed it, I feel that most of the work is still ahead of me.” –- Roberto Giannicola, HECP graduate, California
